In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Cariño said he will never
forget Perez because he was really nice to him even though they only
had a short time to get to know each other.
“Di ba may lines po kami, tinutulungan niyo ako. Matulungin po siya tapos mabait po siya na tao,” he said.
Cariño said Perez even promised him that they will both watch the concert of phenomenal teen singer Justin Bieber in May.
Asked for a mesasge that he would want to give to Perez, Cariño said: “Kuya AJ sana magpakabait ka pa, mag-ingat ka kung nasaan ka man.”
This coming April 30, ABS-CBN’s longest drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” will feature Perez’s last television project which he topbilled along with Cariño.
Perez and Cariño played the roles of impoverished siblings who developed a deeper care and love for each other when they walked from Manila all the way to Samar.
